<p>An air bag device having an air bag, a gas source (6) having a membrane (24), a body (14) whereto the gas source and the air bag are connected, a punching pin (32) and a spring (86) for pushing the punching pin (32), and a trigger assembly for actuating the punching pin, wherein the trigger assembly actuates the punching pin (32) which punctures the membrane (24) of the gas source to fill the air bag with gas when an external impact is transmitted to the trigger assembly, characterized in that, the trigger assembly includes an engaging member (20) having a channel (34) formed therein for passing the punching pin (32) therethrough, a constricting member (26) disposed around the engaging member to constric the channel of the engaging member, and a supporting member (28) disposed between the constricting member (26) and the body (14) for allowing the constricting member (26) moved along the engaging member (20) when the external impact is transmitted to the supporting member (28).</p> |
