<p>A syringe (11) comprising a barrel (13) having a longitudinal passage (25) extending through the barrel (13) and a plunger (15) slidable in the passage (25) of the barrel (13). The barrel (13) has a connector (19) adjacent one end of the barrel (13) for attaching a cannula (23) to the barrel (13) and a flange (27) adjacent the other end of the barrel (13). An adapter (17) having a passage (53) extending through it is mounted on the barrel (13) with the adapter (17) engaging the flange (27) of the barrel (13). The adapter (17) extends radially beyond the flange (27) to form finger pads (49).</p> |
