The speed bump arrangement consists of a trigger bump (14) and an obstacle bump (26), which is located at a distance to the first. Both bumps are located at right angles to the direction of travel, and are connected by an actuator device. The obstacle bump is normally positioned on the same level as the roadway. When a vehicle travels across the trigger bump at excessive speed, the actuator device raises or lowers the obstacle bump into a different position for a limited time. |
