METHOD FOR EXECUTION OF POSITION-DEPENDENT LANGUAGE COMMAND AND COMPUTER CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To control the same function with a single language command at plural positions in an installation place by deciding the maximum volume position for every speaker when plural speakers simultaneously generate the same command at differently physical positions. CONSTITUTION: A computer 70 analyzes the output of an analog-to-digital converter 72 by comparing it with a language command template. The computer 70 decides whether the language command includes vocalization of more than two speakers after it is decided that the language command detected with microphones 32 to 48 is a recognizable one. Next, amplitude comparison software 78 is executed and decides the physical position having the maximum volume of the language command which is detected with microphones 32 to 48 in the computer 70. Thus, only the specified function at the concerned position is controlled after the language command detected in the system is analyzed and the physical position which generates the maximum volume is detected.
