<p>PURPOSE:To provide a device whereby an indication is directly executed from a separated place without interrupting the visibility of a screen viewer and a stable pointing with a restrained fluctuation. CONSTITUTION:A pointing input part 203 consisting of a laser output device 201 and a three-dimentional position measuring equipment 202, a pointing position deciding part 204, a display displaying control part 205 and the display screen 206 are added so as to constitute a system. The pointing input part 203 continuously detects a three-dimentional position coordinate and a direction from a reference point in terms of time, the pointing position deciding part 204 discriminates whether the pointing object position is fixed or shifted from the three-dimentional position and the largeness of a direction data shift and a new indicating point on the display screen is calculated and obtained from the three-dimentional position and direction data when the shift seems to be executed. The indicating point coordinates and button depression information of the pointing input part are transmitted to a display device displaying control part and cursor display and a screen operation are executed.</p> |
