<p>PURPOSE:To recycle scrap of products made of Al alloy into Al alloy with high cleanliness by efficiently removing Ti and Fe contained in the can scrap as the impurity elements in the molten condition in realizing the recycling by collecting and re-melting the scrap of cans made of Al alloy. CONSTITUTION:Scrap of cans made of Al alloy is used as at least a part of the raw materials to be melted, and after the scrap is melted, at least one kind to be selected from the groups consisting of Ba, Mg, Mn, Ca, Pb and the oxides of these elements is added into the obtained molten metal to remove at least Ti in the molten metal as the compound containing Ti. At least one kind to be selected from the groups consisting of Ta, Ti, Ca, Ba, Cl, Ta compound, Ca oxide, Ba oxide, and the compound containing Cl is added into the molten metal to remove at least Fe in the molten metal as the compound containing Fe. These processes are executed in an arbitrary order, or simultaneously.</p> |
