<p>PURPOSE:To provide a decomposition process of waste plastics into oil which is of an energy-saving type well considered in heat efficiency and equipment efficiency and being efficiently operable batchwise so as to fit for the actual situation of the occurrence of waste plastics. CONSTITUTION:A process for heat-decomposing waste plastics and recovering oil from the produced decomposition gas, which comprises performing the heat decomposition in the presence of 40-160 pts.wt., per 100 pts.wt. waste plastics, solvent for waste plastic decomposition oil under reflux of a high-boiling gas of the produced decomposition gas, and recovering the condensate. Therefore, an improvement in the heat efficiency and energy saving can be attained, and in addition the overall time including the time necessary for producing oil by heat decomposition and the time necessary for cooling in the batch apparatus can be shortened within 24hr. Thus, the rate of operation of the apparatus can be markedly improved.</p> |
