<p>Electric storage heater comprising modular elements (1, 2, 3) provided with fins of the type used in water-based central heating systems and assembled to provide a compact wall-mounted or portable heater of required power. The modular elements, each integrally formed, preferably of aluminium alloy, have a recess (4) formed therein, for the insertion of a single refractory brick housing an internal electric resistor (1), one of the modular elements being adapted to act as power unit provided with a bulb thermostat and an electric cord for connection to the mains. The wall-mounted or portable heater is suitable for use as a primary heating means or as an auxiliary form of heating in any building.</p> |
