PURPOSE:To obtain a method for storing data in a CD-ROM which shortens an access time by dividing continuous data and repeatedly inserting data to be accessed at random between tone divided data. CONSTITUTION:A continuous data 50 is divided to data A-0-A-6, and data (a)-(c) are repeatedly inserted between the divided data as data 61-66 generated at random. Every data (a)-(c) is inserted at least once in one cycle. Data is recorded in a CD-ROM in this constitution. When it becomes necessary to access the data a61 while the divided data A-0 obtained from the continuous data is read, the data (a) can be promptly accessed without a different seeking operation. When the data (c) is to be accessed during the access to the data A-3, data c66 of the next, cycle is accessed. Accordingly, an access time to data is shortened. |
