The form body (1) is designed as a straight or bend beam made of foam material for car bumpers or side impact protection. Straight (2), twisted (3) or bent (4) cuts parallel to the height axis (h) allow the deformation of the body and absorbs additional energy using bending work. The cuts lead close to the edges of the body while still maintaining the cohesive strength. Arches of twisted cuts (5) and edges of bent cuts (6) face the closer end of the beam.
