发明名称 LEAK DETECTOR OF ELECTRIC CAR
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To detect a leak' in a motor properly on the battery side of an inverter without misidentifying a noise as the leak. CONSTITUTION:In order to detect a leak in a motor 10, transistors Q1, Q3 and Q5 belonging to the upper arm of an inverter 12 are turned on and transistors Q2, Q1 and Q2 belonging to the lower arm of the inverter 12 are turned off. If a leak exists in the motor 10, a current path from the upper arm transistors to a leak detector 22 through the windings of the motor 10, the leak part 26 and a ground is produced. The leak' detector 22 detects the existence of the leak part 26 with a current flowing through the current path and informs an ECU (electronic control unit) of the existence of the leak. The turning-on of the upper arm transistors and the turning-off of the lower arm transistors may be reversed. It is not necessary to turn on all the transistors belonging to the upper arm or the lower arm.</p>
