<p>PURPOSE: To provide an inching system capable of successively performing an inching action and a braking action by using a brake pedal and preventing braking delay due to lowering of pump pressure. CONSTITUTION: This system includes a main pump 10 generating pump pressure, a brake pedal 12, a master cylinder 14 communicated with the main pump 10 so as to perform a braking action by generating brake pressure in accordance with an increase of stroke of the brake pedal 12, a charging pump 42 discharging hydraulic fluid for engaging a transmission clutch 40, a housing 48 having a pilot pressure chamber 48a and a spool 50 slidable within the housing 48. The spool 50 can be shifted between a first operative position supplying hydraulic fluid to the transmission clutch 40 and a second operative position returning hydraulic fluid to an oil tank.. The spool 50 is constituted of an inching valve 46 which releases the transmission clutch 40 because the spool 50 is shifted to the second operation position as pressure within the pilot pressure chamber 48a becomes higher than a set value and a pilot conduit 62 connecting a pump pressure supply line 16 and the pilot pressure chamber 48a.</p> |
