<p>PURPOSE: To provide a means which can be easily machined and also is economical by controlling all functions of a reproducing/recording unit by means of a single drive means. CONSTITUTION: When a control member 96 is set at its actuation position, a shoulder 101 formed on a main frame 10 assures the tilt of a ratchet 100 around a shaft 102 of a pin spring 104 against this spring. Then a lug 24 is set free and a loading mechanism is held at its due position by an elastic means. Then a cassette is set at its active position. When a motor is switched to revolve in the opposite direction, a control member 96 is displaced toward the start end of a stroke. In this return movement, a lug 106 is separated from a slider 130 and a magnetic tape and the cassette are released from their engagement states secured with a reproducing/recording element 115 and a drive means respectively. At the same time, the ratchet 100 locks the lug 24. Then the member 96 is advanced further and the cassette is set at its projecting position. Thus, a user can catch the cassette.</p> |
