INK COMPOSITION FOR STAMP

PURPOSE:To prepare an ink composition exhibiting stable stamping properties independently of temperature and humidity and free from attack on a stamp material by using a solvent containing a glycerol derivative. CONSTITUTION:This ink composition is composed of (A) a colorant and (B) a solvent containing a glycerol derivative {preferably a compound of the formula [(n) is 1 to 30]}. The vapor pressure of the glycerol derivative is preferably <=0.005mmHg (20 deg.C) and the water solubility of the glycerol derivative is preferably <=50wt.%. The content of the glycerol derivative in the component (B) is preferably 15 to 98wt.% based on the total amount of the component (B). In addition, benzyl alcohol and ethylene glycol are exemplified as the solvent to be used in combination with the glycerol derivative.
