AUTOCLAVE MOLDED FORM

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a colored autoclave molded form by autoclave treatment of a colored SiO2-based substance as raw material to effect solidification thereof. CONSTITUTION:A mixture comprising a colored SiO2-based substance such as silica black and Ca-and/or Mg-based substance(s) such as Ca(OH)2 and/or Mg(OH)2 at the molar ratio (Ca+Mg)/Si of about 0.05-0.3, and, if needed, a solubility-raising substance like LiOH at such an amount that the alkali metal ion account for ca. <=10wt.% (pref. esp. ca.0.1-1wt.%) of the final mixture, is subjected to pressure molding to a specified shape. Subsequently, the resultant molded from is charged into an autoclave followed by addition of an appropriate amount water and then conducting a treatment under the saturated vapor pressure at ca. 150-250 deg.C for 2-20hr or so, to obtain the objective deep-cod-ored autoclave molded form.
