<p>PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic toner capable of realizing the high picture quality of high picture density and low surface fogging and capable of forming a stable picture even when the waste toner is recycled. CONSTITUTION:A hydrophobic metal oxide fine particle 5 having 50-120m<2>/g specific surface and a hydrophobic metal oxide fine particle 5 having 150-300m<2>/g specific surface are deposited on the surface of the globurized powder of the magnetic toner base body contg. at least a binder resin 1 and a magnetic substance particle 2. The metal oxide particle having a small specific surface is added so that the particle having a large specific surface is uniformly adhered to the base body. Meanwhile, when the toner stressed by the developing device and cleaning blade, the stress exerted on the high-specific-surface particle is relieved by the small-specific-surface particle.
