PURPOSE:To obtain water-repellent yarn useful as a raw material for nonwoven fabric for a sanitary material, having excellent processing suitability and water repellency free from occurrence of static electricity. CONSTITUTION:This yarn comprises a polyolefin or a polyester stuck with 0.1-1.0wt.% of a surface improver consisting essentially of potassium alkyl phosphate containing a <=6C alkyl group. |
