The collapsible table supported on an undercarriage comprises a first pair of sheets that are movable relative to one another, over which a conveyor belt runs. The interconnected first ends of the sheets are present in a first operative connection with the undercarriage and can be raised or lowered w.r.t. the undercarriage between a first horizontal position and a second position in which the first ends rest against the undercarriage. Each sheet is joined to the undercarriage at a point on the long side remote from the first end using one or more rigid struts forcing the second ends of the sheet upwards when the first ends are lowered against the undercarriage. The sheets are parallel when the first ends are set in the lowermost position. |
