<p>PURPOSE:To realize a path setting system in which a traffic of a control network is not increased. CONSTITUTION:Path configuration information to be stored in VPI conversion tables 11-1, 11-2 in a cross connect being a network element is set in one cell and the resulting cell is sent from a subscriber system equipment 1-1 provided at a termination point of a path. Each cross connect receives the cell and stores respectively the path configuration information included in the cell to a table of its own element. Since the path configuration information is sent while being integrated in one cell, the increase in the traffic for a control network is prevented.</p> |
