The hair curler comprises a cylindrical roller formed from a knitted band of rolled up anti-static wool. This roller is fixed at its ends (3) at points to give it a cylindrical form which is not rigid, but has a sufficient hold for winding round the locks of hair to be curled.The terminating band of the roller which is at the outside (4) is not fixed. This leaves a space free for sliding the end of the lock of hair and holding it in place without causing a malformation of the hair position.
