PURPOSE:To pick up an image without flicker of luminance of a light source. CONSTITUTION:The image pickup device is provided with a flicker detection circuit 10 detecting flicker of a light source lighting an image pickup object, a flicker frequency detection circuit 12 detecting a flicker frequency of a light source, and an exposure time control circuit 13 setting an exposure time of a line sensor 3 to a prescribed time corresponding to the flicker of the light source, and uses the line sensor 3 in which photoelectric conversion elements are arranged in a line in the main scanning direction to implement main scanning and subscanning for exposure and photoelectric conversion and a signal processing circuit 7 converts an image electric signal into a video signal of a prescribed system and outputs it. |
