PURPOSE:To make coaxial cable cutting work easier and, at the same time, to prevent erroneous measurement of a cutting position. CONSTITUTION:A jig for cutting end part of coaxial cable used for cutting a coaxial cable 100 from a position at a prescribed distance from its end after the coating 104 of the cable 100 is stripped off from its end part is provided with a cylindrical body 2 which is put on the end part of the cable 100 and carries narrow grooves 3 formed along the axial direction of the body 2 in its front end section in the axial direction and clamping body 6 which clamps the front end section of the body 2. The body 2 is provided with a positioning projection 5 having such a size that the projection 5 can cover the outer conductor 101 of the cable 100 on its front-side internal peripheral surface in the axial direction and a cutting guide surface 10a at the same distance as that between the front end and the projection 5 from the rear end of the cylindrical body 2.
