PURPOSE:To provide a wet developing device equipped with a scraper having very excellent characteristics that an abnormal image such as a vertical stripe is eliminated and the adhesive amount of solvent is reduced without making torque high. CONSTITUTION:A squeeze roller 3 is supported to hold a proper gap with a photoreceptor 1 and rotated in an opposite direction to the rotating direction of the photoreceptor 1 to squeeze excess developer on the photoreceptor 1. Furthermore, a scraper 4 for removing the developer adhering to the roller is allowed to abut on the squeeze roller 3. Even when the toner is fixed on the squeeze roller 3, the toner is completely removed by one scraper and further the deterioration of the scraper itself is prevented by making the hardness of the material of the scraper 4 higher than that of the fixed toner. |
