<p>PURPOSE:To reduce work load and to interactively and visually prepare definition information by transferring required data from a displayed plant data table to a definition table by a rag and drop operation. CONSTITUTION:This document data base definition information preparing device is provided with a display 2 for displaying a plant data table 5 for storing a measured value indicating the operation state of a plant equipment and a document data base definition table 6 for defining the format of a document based upon data stored in the table 5. The operator drags necessary data to be used for a document in the table 5 displayed on the display 2 by the use of a mouse 4 and drops the dragged data on a prescribed position in the table 6. Thereby, the dragged data are transferred to a position on which a mouse button of the mouse 4 is released. Thus, the table 6 can be simply, interactively and visually prepared by this working without generating many input misses.</p> |
