<p>A tool for cutting and curling a ribbon (5) such as the one used for gift packs, comprising two substantially stiff elongated elements (1, 2), which are resiliently connected to each other at one end (1a, 2a) and suitable to contact each other on a friction surface (4) provided therebetween. At least one of the elongated elements (1) has a sharp edge which can be used both to cut the ribbon (5), as a paper knife, and to curl the ribbon (5) by dragging it between the two elongated elements (1, 2) while rubbing it against the edge (3). The friction surface can be a layer (4) of frictional material attached to one of the elements or a knurled surface. The tool is simple to use and inexpensive to produce, and in particular is able to curl a ribbon in whatever position and in the desired way.</p> |
