PURPOSE:To sufficiently reduce the maximum surface roughness of an aluminum pipe surface and moreover surely remove a burr, being a cause and the like for an image defect. CONSTITUTION:The outer peripheral surface of an aluminum raw pipe is subjected to appropriate removing work (cutting work by a cutting tool, centerless polishing work, superfinish polishing work, peeling work, and polishing work by an abrasive tape), and at that time, the maximum surface roughness on an aluminum outer peripheral surface, after performing these removing work, is made 1.5-4mum. The maximum surface roughness can be improved and also a burr caused by the removing work is reduced by applying roller burnishing work onto this aluminum pipe outer peripheral surface. |
