PURPOSE:To obtain a container, to which water resistance and flame retardance are given, by a method wherein expandable beads, which are prepared by mixing expanding agent with plastic, are hot-expanded in a mold so as to mold the container in order to apply aqueous paint onto the inner surface of the molded container. CONSTITUTION:A container is molded by hot-expanding beads, which are prepared by mixing expanding agent with plastic, and the inner surface of the molded container is applied with aqueous paint. Further, by partially mixing vinylidene chloride resin with the aqueous paint, flame retardance can be given to the container. As the paint used, acrylic, silicone, fluorine or vinyl acetate- based aqueous paint (water-soluble and emulsion type) is employed. Furthermore, as the mixture mixing with the aqueous paint, water-soluble and emulsion type vinylidene chloride resin can be employed. In addition, the resin, the emulsion type of which has especially a high molecular weight, is also favorable in water resistance. |
