PURPOSE:To provide the secondary cell high in capacity, and excellent in cycle properties and shell life by using as electrolyte the mixture of tetra-fluoro boric lithium and hexafluoro phospheric lithium. CONSTITUTION:Tetrafluoro boric lithium LiBF4 is mixed with hexafluoro- phospheric lithium LiPF6 in a range of LiBF4: LiPF6=-95:5 to 5:95 molar ratio so as to be used as organic electrolyte, and its concentration shall be 0.3 to 2mol/little. The mixed electrolyte is used for solvent such as cyclic ester and cyclic ether. Besides, a positive electrode is not particularly limited of its base material, but a negative electrode is desirably made of carbonaceous material. By this constitution, it is recognized based on the result of various tests that a cell formed as mentioned above exhibits excellent cell performance. |
