<p>PURPOSE:To securely decide up/down operation as to an optional writing tool by detecting a difference in pressure applied to the pad of a finger of a user who operates a writing tool and making a decision through simple threshold value processing. CONSTITUTION:The writing tool, e.g. a pencil alpha is inserted into a couple of writing tool insertion holding rings and fixed by cramping a holding fixation screw. Then the lower side of a device housing 1 is clamped with the index finger betaa and thumb betab together with a mount holder 6 and the axial directions of an X-axial and a Y-axidal acceleration sensor incorporated in the device housing 1 are determined. Further, the fingertip pad part betaa' of the index finger betacomes into contact with a pressure sensing switch 3. For the up/down operation of the pencil alpha, etc., on paper, etc., the signal of a pressure sensing switch 3 mounted on an elastic beam 2 is processed with a threshold value to decide down operation when some plus threshold value is exceeded and up operation when not. Therefore, events of the motion of the hand beta such as the writing start, break, restart, and writing finish of characters and a figure can be detected.</p> |
