Dielectric ceramic material for high frequency applications has a main component of a TiO2-ZrO2-SnO2 system and a component for supporting the sintering process of ZnO, NiO, Nb2O5 and Mn(NO3).2.4H2O. The main component consists of 22-43 wt.% TiO2, 38-58 wt.% ZrO2 and 9-26 wt.% SnO2. The component for supporting the sintering process consists of, based on the amt. of the main component, less than a 7 wt.% ZnO, less than 10 wt.% NiO, less than 7 wt.% Nb2O5 and less than 4 wt.% Mn(NO3)2.4H2O, calculated on the basis of the wt. ratio of MnO2. Also claimed is the process for the mfr. of the above dielectric ceramic material comprising: (a) mixing the main component and the component for supporting the sintering process within the above specified amt. ranges; (b) calcining the resulting mixt. at 1000-1200 deg C; and then (c) sintering at 1300-1500 deg C in an O2 atmos.
