Door lock with security feature

The lock has a bolt (125) which projects from the edge, and a locking member which moves at right angles to the bolt and engages with teeth (190) on its shank (189) to fix the bolt in the locked position. The locking member has springs (187) which push it towards the bolt shank. The lock incorporates a security feature in the form of a slider (200) which moves across the direction of the bolt's travel and prevents the bolt from returning when in the locked position. The slider is in the shape of a rectangular=section ring which is shaped to receive the bolt shank, and is equipped with a lug and spring.
