The colloidal waste water treating agent, which contains 2-9wt% solid sludge and 20-30wt% alkali with the pH being 11-14, is composed of 2-6wt% quicklime, 2-6wt% sodium hydroxide, 10-16wt% calcium hydroxide, 2-8wt% an additive and 60-85wt% water. As an additive is used aluminium sulfate (Al2(SO4)3) or calcium chloride (CaCl2). The treating agent shows a good coagulating effect and forms flocks with high strength and large diameter, reducing sludge formation.
