<p>PURPOSE:To enlarge a sweet area by distributing the weight of a golf club head by forming a cavity by projectingly providing a flange part at the peripheral edge part of back part at the main body of the head, and mounting a weight member of a specific gravity larger than that of the main body of the head on the outer peripheral face of the flange part. CONSTITUTION:A hosel part 25, sole part 27 and face part 29 are integrally molded at a main body 23 of the head. Then, a back part 31 at the main body 23 of the head is provided with a cavity 35 by projectingly providing a flange part 33, which is extended to the back of the main body 23 of the head, at the peripheral edge part of the back part 31. Besides, respective rectangular recessed parts 37 and 39 are formed from the heel side to the toe side of the main body 23 of the head on the respective outer peripheral faces of the flange part 33 on the top side and the sole side, and a head 45 is constituted by fitting and mounting weight members 41 and 43 of a specific gravity larger than that of the main body 23 of the head on the same plane as the outer peripheral face of the flange part 33 at the respective recessed parts 37 and 39. Thus, the weight of the head 45 can be surely distributed to the peripheral edge part of the bag part 31.</p> |
