A device for disintegration of material comprises a substantially horizontally arranged rotor (2) having a plurality of peripherically arranged disintegration elements (3) adapted to co-operate in a material disintegrating manner, at a place where disintegration elements of the rotor move downwardly, with a stationarily arranged counter member (5) also contained in the device and a substantially vertical wall (11) extending along the rotor at the same side as the counter member and adapted to direct material coming from above between itself and the rotor downwardly towards the counter member. Said wall (11) consists entirely or partially of a resiliently yieldable material (12). |
