PURPOSE:To predict an amount of railway power load, making a train operation notch limitation and its release accurately performable on the basis of this predictor and also an amount of working electric power keepable down to less than the contract demand. CONSTITUTION:This predictor is provided with means 1 predicting the sum total (powering Km) of a powering running distance, powering Km actual result operational means 3 operating the sum total of a traveling distance, powering Km electric power characteristic statistical processing means 4 performing the data base promotion of a powering Km electric power characteristic for a certain span of time, and working power predictor operational means 5 predicting an amount of working electric power for subsequent T minutes from the predicted powering Km predicted by powering Km predictor operational means in use of the data base of the powering Km electric power characteristic obtained by the processing means 4. Moreover, it is provided with notch limitation command judging means 6 comparing the working electric power predictor operated with a contract demand with an electric power company, and thereby performing each output out of a train notch limit command and a notch limit release command. |
