PURPOSE:To sustain cleanliness in a clean room of a motor for magnetic disc drive by preventing a bearing from scattering grease and to reduce outgas by tightening a magnetic fluid protective plate mechanically with high accuracy without using any adhesive. CONSTITUTION:The brushless motor has a structure where a labyrinth seal means is provided by the inner circumference of a hub 102 for fixing a rotor magnet 104, and the outer circumference 140 of a bracket 103. Furthermore, a magnetic fluid protective plate is tightened mechanically to the hub in order to prevent a magnetic fluid from scattering. |
