<p>PURPOSE: To sterilize a packaged injection syringe assembly as it is with high-pressure steam by forming part of a packaging container containing the injection syringe assembly with steam-permeable nonwoven fabric or nonwoven paper, and providing a fixing means preventing the deformation and movement of various parts of the injection syringe assembly. CONSTITUTION: The tip 2 of an injection cylinder/container (referred as a cylinder hereafter) 1 is formed into a slenderly and tubularly protruded nozzle, and the nozzle is sealed with a rubber plug 3. The rubber plug 3 has projections at the head section to mitigate the vibration of the cylinder 1 in a box-type packaging container 7. One does of a medicine 5 is filled in the cylinder 1, and the opening section of the cylinder 1 is sealed with a sliding plug 4. The box 7 is provided with a fixing plate 10 nearly at the center of the cylinder 1, a support recess 11 corresponding to the shape of a flange 9, and a support 12 nearly at the center of a push rod 6, and an injection syringe assembly filled with the medicine 5 is fixed to the box 7. The opened portion of the top face of the box 7 is covered with thin nonwoven fabric or nonwoven paper 16 having holes with the diameter of 6-200μm, then the box 7 is sterilized with high- pressure steam.</p> |
