<p>PURPOSE: To enhance the strength of casing while ensuring electric insulation by providing reinforcing ribs on the outside of the casing and filling the casing with an insulating tiller while covering the outer connection terminal. CONSTITUTION: A large number of ribs 20 extending laterally in parallel with each other are formed on the outer circumference of a casing body 12 containing a three-phase branch body 18 integrally with the casing body 12. Arrangement of the ribs 20 can be selected properly as required. The casing 16 is filled with an insulating compound 36 covering connection terminals 26Au-26Cw, outer connection terminal boards 32Au-32Cw and outer neutral connection terminal boards 34A-34C. This structure prevents intrusion of water from the tubular part 22 under the casing body 18 thus enhancing the strength of the casing 16 while ensuring electric insulation.</p> |
