<p>PURPOSE: To secure the sufficient assisting power, reducing the dimension and weight of an assisting motor for bicycle. CONSTITUTION: In the low car speed region, an assisting motor is duty- controlled, and the duty ratio is increased according to the increase of the stepping power of a crank pedal, and the duty ratio is increased according to be increase of the increase of the car speed. Accompanied with the inner increase of the car speed, in the high car speed region where the duty ratio reaches 100%, the constant watt control for generating the max. output in the assisting motor without depending on the car speed and the stepping force is carried out. In the high car speed region where the large assisting power is demanded, the necessity of reducing the output of the assisting motor is obviated, the necessity of providing excessive output to the assisting motor is obviated, and the reduction of dimension and weight can be enabled.</p> |
