PURPOSE:To improve the coloring property and sharpness of the title material by incorporating at least one kind of a specified water soluble polymer coupler in said sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains at least one kind of the water soluble polymer coupler shown by formula I wherein E is >=2C a monovalent group, A is a repeating unit derived from an ethylenically unsatd. monomer having a coupler residue capable of forming a dyestuff by coupling with the oxidant of an aromatic primary amine developing main agent, B is a repeating unit derived from a non-coloring ethylenically unsat. monomer capable of copolymerizing, and may be two or more kinds of the repeating units, X is a monovalent group, (x) and (y) are each a percentage of each repeating units contd. in a polymer coupler. The weight ratio of (x) and (y) is a range of (10:90)-(90:10). Thus, the excellent coloring property and sharpness of the sensitive material are obtd. |
