PURPOSE:To improve bleaching accelerating effect by incorporating a compd. liberating a bleaching accelerating agent by reacting with an oxidized body of an aromatic primary amine type color developing agent into a color photographic sensitive material but preventing substantially incorporation of a compd. liberating sulfite ions in a color developing liquid. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide color photographic sensitive material is color developed after carrying out image exposure of the material, and then treated with a treating liquid having bleaching effect. Further, a compd. which liberates a bleaching accelerating effect by the reaction with an oxidized body of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent is incorporated into the color photographic sensitive material, thereby preventing substantially incorporation of a compd. liberating sulfite ions in the color developing liquid. Thus, the bleaching accelerating effect of the compd. liberating the bleaching accelerating agent is improved remarkably by the substantial removal of the compd. liberating sulfite ions in the color developing liquid.
