<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a cleaning device for an image forming device capable of arousing a fear that capsule toner stuck to the surface of an image carrier is crushed extremely little and further, coming into contact with the image carrier with press-contact force enough to remove the capsule toner from the image carrier. CONSTITUTION: The cleaning device 13 is provided with a cleaning blade 16 composed of an elastic body and the edge 17 of the cleaning blade 16 comes into press-contact with the surface of a photoreceptor drum 1, to remove the capsule toner 2 stuck to the drum 1. The cleaning device 13 is constituted so as to establish the relation ofΦ1 +Φ2 <90 deg. and 5 deg.<Φ1 <20 deg., when an angle formed by the surface of the drum 1 in a contact part when the edge 17 is brought into press-contact with the drum 1 and the surface of the edge 17 turned in the rotational direction of the drum 1 is defined asΦ1 and an angle formed by two surfaces constituting the edge 17 is defined asΦ2 Moreover, the cleaning blade 16 is supported by a leaf spring member 15.</p> |
