PURPOSE: To improve the durability of an upper mount and external appearance by disposing the upper mount for holding a steering bracket in order to suppress the vibration of a handle, in a lower cover provided in line with an engine cover. CONSTITUTION: In an outboard engine 2, an engine 4 is covered with an engine cover 6, and a lower cover 8 is provided thereunder. A drive shaft housing 10 is provided at the lower part of the lower cover 8, and a gear case 12 is provided thereunder. The outboard engine 2 is further provided with a steering bracket 30 fitted with a handle 2 for performing steering operation, and the steering bracket 30 is supported by a mount device 32. In this case, the upper mount 34 of the mount device 32 is formed into H-shape on the front face and constituted by integrating mount members 36 and a mount cover 38 externally fitted to the mount members 36. |
