A wiper arm (2) of a windscreen wiper system has a first wiper arm section (4) pivotable about an axis (3) and a second wiper arm section (5) telescopically movable in the first section (4). Each section (4, 5) comprises two telescopic rails mutually spaced in a plane perpendicular to the axis (3) and joined at the front end by a bridging piece (9, 15). The wiper blade (6) is arranged to move in the bridging piece (15) at the free end of the second section (5). |
