<p>The data storage device is equipped with a cache memory that can be indexed by an address of a virtual or real address space. The address has a page offset address part as well as a page number address part representing a page number and comprising a group indicator and a residual address part. The group indicator gives one of a number of groups to which the page represented by the page number address part of the address belongs. The cache memory can be indexed by at least one part of the page offset address part and by the group indicator of the address. The real memory can only be indexed by the residual address part and the page offset part of the address.</p> |
