<p>PURPOSE: To securely realize a corresponding printing without trouble and without setting error by permitting a discrimination sensor to read the notch and the closing date mark of a time card when it is inserted into a time recorder, discriminating the front and rear sides and the closing date and printing data in the prescribed position of the time card based on a printing system which is previously set and stored in accordance with the discrimination. CONSTITUTION: The date and the closing marks 6 and 7, which correspond to the closing date, are previously printed on the time card 1. The notch 5 is provided for discriminating the front and rear sides. The printing systems corresponding to plural kinds of the closing dates are previously set and stored. At the time of receiving the time card 1, the discrimination sensor reads the notch 5 and the closing date marks 6 and 7, and the front and rear sides and the closing date are discriminated. Printing is executed in accordance with the discriminated front and rear sides and the closing date. Since the closing date marks 6 and 7 are printed at the lower part of the longitudinal direction of the time card 1, the notch 5, the closing date marks 6 and 7 can more easily be discriminated, and a conventional card can be used without trouble.</p> |
