The thermally insulated (3d) oven (3) is closed at the front by a drop-down opt., side-hinged-door (4) comprising four parallel sheets of low emissivity glass (4a...4d), assembled within a metal frame (10,11). The two innermost sheets (4a,4b), separated by a peripheral sealing gasket (9), form an insulating unit, but the spaces (6a,6b) separating this from the next sheet (4c), and the latter from the outermost (4d), are open at top and bottom.Cooling air entering under the door (7) passes through these spaces and out of the door top (8) into the space between the oven top and a horizontal partition (15), whence the fan (13) expels it (14) at the cooker rear.A subsidiary flow (17,16,15c), above the partition, cools the electrical and electronic control circuits (18,19).
