The structure (1) is placed on the ground and has vertical scaffolding poles (2) and a trellis of cross pieces (3) attached to the poles. These sections define the inner volume of the structure. The structure has horizontal layers of inflatable tubes (4a, 4b) placed one on top of another. Adjacent tubes are placed at right angles to each other. The tubes are inflated so they are supported by the ground (5) and the structural sections in the upper section (6). Between the intersections between the tubes in successive layers there are connecting blocks (7a, 7b). The blocks have a cylindrical groove on either side at right angles to each other to fit the inflatable tubes. The connecting blocks can be stacked.
