The guide, consists of a plate (1) with windows (8,9,10) in it corresponding to the spaces on the cheque which must be completed. Two edges of the plate have folding flaps (4,5) to align with the edges of a cheque, and the plate also has visual or tactile markers (11) to facilitate positioning.The guide can be made, for example, from stiff card or plastic, and it can be shaped to fit against the edges of a cheque book.
