<p>PURPOSE: To make an exhaust gas desulfurizer compact by reducing the load of the oxidation treatment of sulfite in a circulating tank. CONSTITUTION: The compactification of an one column type exhaust gas disulfurizer, especially, a circulating tank and the reduction of the utility related to the operation thereof are achieved by arranging a slurry stirring, tank 102 between the circulating tank of an absorbing column and a gypsum recovery system and imparting stirring function and, if necessary, sulfite oxidizing function to the slurry stirring tank 102. The supply of the absorbent slurry subjected to the absorption of sulfur oxide to an absorbing part through the separately arranged slurry stirring tank 102 also becomes an effective means from the aspect of the solution of the above mentioned subject.</p> |
